Appearance of woolly aphids
Woolly aphids feed on plant sap and excrete plant sugars which make the plants susceptible to fungal infections and other diseases. These aphids have a white woolly appearance like cotton wool. The plant sugars excreted by the aphids make the plant sticky.

Provado Ultimate Bug Killer
You can get rid of woolly aphids by spraying the whole plant with an agent such as “Provado Ultimate Bug Killer”, as shown in the photograph below:
It is best to treat the plant outside where it can be sprayed all over in a well ventilated area. This will allow you to avoid being over exposed to the aerosol created by the spray.
